Jaime Afonso appointed Vice Chair of ECC/ Trains, boats and planes get broadband from space/ Launching studies on harmonised technical conditions for 700 MHz and long term vision for the UHF band / More scope for short range devices.

The ECC has agreed a key decision which will enable the introduction within weeks of better broadband connections by satellite to ‘moving platforms’, such as trains, ships and aircraft. Read our Press Release.
