The 34th meeting of the EFIS Maintenance Group took place in Biel/Bienne (Switzerland), on the 9-10 September 2014. The meeting was attended by 18 participants from 15 CEPT administrations and the ECO.

The meeting received an update of the status of EFIS including in particular new features such as for Fixed Service, ECO Report 03 related and discussed necessities for improvements in the near future. A list of action items for the administrations and ECO was established and will be exercised in the near future.

In addition, EFIS/MG also discussed possibilities for consolidation of the EFIS application terminology in the field of radar solutions used in the field of traffic and transport telematics.

The availability of certain information in EFIS such as for DECT, satellite services, PMR/PAMR services, and fixed services was noted as an improvement of the information base in support of spectrum inventory considerations measures and will be brought forward by the EFIS/MG chairman to the attention in WGFM, also to avoid that interested parties may overlook available data in EFIS.

The next meeting of the EFIS/MG is going to take place at the ECO on 15-16 January 2015.
