The 36th meeting of the EFIS Maintenance Group took place in Budapest (Hungary) on the 13-14 October 2015. The meeting was attended by 12 participants from 10 CEPT administrations and the ECO.
EFIS/MG agreed the revision of ECC Report 180 on guidance on the interpretation of the requirements of ECC/DEC/(01)03 on EFIS for publication (delegation of authority from WGFM). In addition, the revised ECC Report 180 refers to the new ECO Report 05 which sets out for CEPT, ECC and EC deliverables the relation to the application terminology specified in ECC Decision (01)03 Annex 2. Future changes in ECO Report 05 will be supervised by WGFM and EFIS/MG.
EFIS/MG discussed and agreed a revised action list for amendments and new features to be incorporated in the EFIS database in the near future. Some amendments make a revision of ECC Decision (01)03 Annex 5 necessary (new elements in the data format used in EFIS) and EFIS/MG agreed to finalise by correspondence the revision for submission to the next WGFM meeting in February 2016 for administration consultation approval.
EFIS/MG agreed also to submit six Radio Interface Specification Templates to the next WGFM meeting for endorsement and subsequent uploading to the EFIS database for PMR446, ITS, UWB LT2, GSO and NGSO ESOMPs applications in line with recent new or revised ECC deliverables and corresponding application terminology.
