3 new deliverables from WG NaN - Jurmala, Latvia, 27-28 April 2016
28 Apr 2016, 00:00WG NaN held its 12th meeting in Jūrmala, Latvia on 27-28 April 2016. The meeting was attended by 43 participants representing 23 CEPT countries and a number of external stakeholders.
The meeting adopted three new deliverables:
- ECC Recommendation (16)01 - 3rd Party Use of Number Portability Data (NP Data);
- ECC Recommendation (16)02 - Extra Territorial Use of E 164 Numbers - High level principles of assignment and use; and
- ECC Report 248 – Evolution in CLI usage - decoupling of rights of use of numbers from service provision
These documents will shortly be available on the ECO's documentation database (http://docdb.cept.org/).
The meeting also adopted one draft deliverable for public consultation:
- Draft ECC Report – Harmonised implementation of A-GNSS in Europe to provide enhanced Emergency Caller location information.
This deliverable will be opened for public consultation following a two-week period of pre-consultation with the administrations.
An external session focusing on Numbering for M2M/IoT was also held with interesting presentations from Vodafone, AT&T, GSMA and the UK Government. Further information is available at the WG NaN homepage.
The next meeting will take place in Brussels, Belgium on 23-24 November 2016.
