At its 6th meeting in Budapest (17-18 April) the WG NaN adopted a report developed by PT FNI on “Extra-territorial Use of E.164 Numbers”. This report defines extra-territorial use as the use of E.164 numbers of one country in another country on a permanent basis.

The Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications (BIPT) has kindly offered to host the next meeting of PT FNI which is scheduled for 13-14 March 2013. The invitation and further details will follow shortly.

The WG NaN approved a draft report prepared by PT FNI for public consultation at its last meeting in Stockholm 20-22 November 2012. Submissions and comments on the report are now invited from administrations and other interested parties. The deadline for submissions is 18 February 2013.
