SEAMCAT is developed in Java. The source code is open source.

In order to obtain a copy of the SEAMCAT source code you need to to sign a special Source Code User Licence Agreement, join a copy of your ID or passport (for the sole purpose to verify your identity with respect to the details provided in the License Agreement) and provide  a short description of your intended use of the source code.  This information should be sent to the ECO either by mail post, fax, or e-mail to seamcat@eco.cept.org.

So Remember, it is a 2 step process:

  • Step 1: Sign the license agreement and join a copy of your ID or Passport. Don't forget to explain for which purpose you need the source code. Send this information to seamcat@eco.cept.org
  • Step 2: Register to the SEAMCAT Source Code group (see right column of this page)

Note that if you have omitted one of these steps, you will not be granted access to the source code.
