Background

The CEPT portal, cept.org, of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), and websites, contain information about the activities of the CEPT and its committees and provide a platform of information exchange for its work.

 

The European Communications Office (ECO) is the permanent office of the CEPT and provides and maintains the CEPT portal.

Terms and Conditions

The use of the CEPT portal constitutes agreement with the following terms and conditions:

The ECO administers the CEPT portal on behalf of the CEPT Members and as a service to stakeholders. The information presented in the websites is public and meant for informative and collaboration purposes only. The ECO grants permission to users to create a login and/or to visit the CEPT portal, and to download and copy the information, documents and materials from the websites. This permission is given without any right to sell or redistribute materials or to compile or create derivative works therefrom, subject to more specific restrictions that may apply to specific materials within the websites.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the findings, interpretations and conclusions expressed in the materials on the CEPT portal are those of the various administrations of the CEPT Members and other stakeholders, who contributed and prepared the work and do not necessarily represent the views of the ECO, the CEPT Members collectively or a particular CEPT Member.

All material on the CEPT portal appears subject to the present Terms and Conditions.

The boundaries and names and the designations used on the maps on the CEPT portal do not imply official endorsement or acceptance by the ECO.

 

Privacy notice

By accessing this CEPT portal, certain information about the user, such as Internet protocol (IP) addresses, navigation through the site, the software used and the time spent, along with other similar information, will be stored on ECO servers. These will not specifically identify the user. The information will be used internally only for web site traffic analysis and for statistical purposes.

When creating a login account the user provides unique identifying information, such as name, organisation, address and other information or on forms stored on the CEPT portal, such information will be used only for contact and communication purposes and will not be published for general access, though it may be used by other users with a login account when downloading meeting participants lists.

General

The ECO reserves the right to deny in its sole discretion any user access to the CEPT portal or any part of them without notice.

The ECO may modify these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting on the CEPT portal.
