ECC Consultation
The ECC works together to create a stronger more dynamic market in the field of electronic communications for the benefit of European citizens and industry. Our public consultations are an important part of this and we are keen to receive a broad range of views from a wide range of stakeholders to improve our policies.
Public consultation - Procedures for consultation
The procedures for consultation to ECC deliverables are detailed in the below links.
For draft deliverables open for public consultation, comments are invited from CEPT administrations as well as any other interested parties. These should be forwarded to the ECO contact person preferably by e-mail no later than the deadline indicated. Word-format is normally recommended for comments since it makes the comment handling easier.
Except in cases where a draft document is directly approved for public consultation by the ECC Plenary, the public consultation will be preceded with a two-week notification phase, where any Member may object to the public consultation. Providing no objections are received by the Office from any Member during the two-week notification phase, then the draft deliverable is considered to be approved for public consultation.
Public consultation is normally carried out during a minimum period of six weeks.

Note related to the Public Consultation on CEPT Reports in response to Mandates from the European Commission:
Comments to draft CEPT Reports in response to EC Mandate are invited from CEPT administrations as well as other interested parties. These should be forwarded to the European Communications Office contact person preferably by e-mail no later than the deadline indicated. The draft deliverable under consultation has already been submitted to the European Commission. However, substantive observations which have not already been made in response to earlier phases of developing the Report will be received and considered accordingly. The final version of the CEPT Report will be sent to the Commission (see Appendix 8 to the ECC Working Methods).
ECO contact for ECC Consultation related to enquiries is Anne-Dorthe Hjelm Christensen, e-mail anne-dorthe.hjelm.christensen@eco.cept.org
